Job Description

▪ Perform end-to-end quarterly valuations for private equity investments, operating in full compliance with ASC 820 and firm policy.

▪ Apply appropriate methodologies across a range of asset types, including equity investments and alternative financial assets.

▪ Build, maintain, and continuously refine rigorous valuation and financial models to assess portfolio company performance and fair value.

▪ Prepare quarterly valuation memos, supporting exhibits, and materials for Valuation Committee review and approval.

▪ Work directly with investment professionals to understand portfolio company performance and inform fair value conclusions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on valuation experience at an investment bank, buy-side investment manager or dedicated valuation firm or practice.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and defend highly complex valuation models in Microsoft Excel.
  • Working knowledge of ASC 820 fair value standards and standard valuation methodologies.
