Job Title: Controls Engineer Location: Central London (Hybrid – 2–3 days in office)
We are working with an innovative and fast-growing engineering-led business operating at the intersection of sustainability, automation, and advanced manufacturing. The company is scaling rapidly and is looking for a Controls Engineer to play a key role in developing, optimising, and maintaining automated systems across its operations.

Design, develop, and maintain control systems for automated industrial processes
Program and troubleshoot Siemens PLCs (e.g., Integrate and support robotic systems within production environments
Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and process engineering teams to deliver robust automation solutions
Support commissioning, testing, and continuous improvement of systems
Contribute to documentation, standards, and best practices for controls engineering
Assist in scaling automation capabilities as the business grows
Proven experience working with Siemens PLCs (essential)
Experience with industrial robotics (programming, integration, or maintenance)
Strong understanding of control systems, automation architecture, and industrial communication protocols
Experience within HVAC systems or building management systems (desirable)
Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on engineering mindset
Hybrid working (2–3 days per week in a Central London office)
Clear progression path into leadership, including building and managing a controls team
Exposure to cutting-edge automation and sustainable engineering projects
