Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive NPI / Process Engineer to support the setup and execution of production processes within a manufacturing environment.
This role is responsible for establishing production infrastructure, managing New Product Introduction (NPI), handling engineering changes, and ensuring accurate production documentation. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enabling smooth production ramp-up and maintaining operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and establish production infrastructure and process flow setup
- Manage New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and ensure smooth production ramp-up
- Validate Work Order (WO) BOM and ensure accuracy within systems
- Set up and maintain shop floor control system routing
- Define and maintain repair and quality error codes
- Develop and maintain production documentation, including:
- Process flow diagrams
- Work instructions
- Packaging instructions
- Manage engineering change processes (ECN/ECO), including:
- Assessing, documenting, and communicating changes
- Coordinating ECN implementation (phase-in / cut-in)
- Maintaining ECN/ECO and manufacturing documentation
- Updating all related production documentation
- Conduct production training related to NPI, KPI tracking, and engineering changes
- Provide detailed project status reports to internal stakeholders and customers (as required)
- Analyze task time and workforce requirements for production planning
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial or Mechanical Engineering)
- Experience in manufacturing, NPI, or process engineering is preferred
- Familiarity with production systems, BOM validation, and shop floor operations
- Experience in managing engineering changes (ECN/ECO) is a plus
