Process Engineer - Petrochemical Operations

Key Responsibilities: Analyze and optimize existing chemical processes to improve yield, efficiency, and reduce costs. Develop and implement process improvements and modifications. Utilize process simulation software to model and predict process behavior. Troubleshoot operational issues and provide timely solutions. Ensure all processes comply with safety regulations and environmental standards. Collaborate with plant operations and maintenance teams to support daily activities and projects. Conduct feasibility studies for new process technologies or upgrades. Prepare technical reports and documentation related to process performance and improvements. Participate in process hazard analyses (PHAs) and safety reviews. Stay current with advancements in petrochemical processing and related technologies. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in process engineering within the oil and gas or petrochemical industry. Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II). Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics. Experience with process control systems and instrumentation. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and on-site tasks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration.
