Process Engineer - Summer Intern
Job Summary
As a Process Engineer Summer Intern you will analyze workflows, improve efficiency, apply all applicable industrial engineering principles to the production process. Work with data collection. This paid internship offers a unique opportunity to develop your technical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes
- Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
- Perform troubleshooting
- Provide process documentation and operating instructions
- Provide process optimization and work flow
- Conduct process development experiments to scale
- Support factory experience initiatives by observing assembly lines, fabrication processes and tooling set-ups
- Assist in data collection and analysis for continuous improvement efforts aligned with ISO 9001 standards
- Peripherally ensure compliance with safety and environment regulations
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field
- Strong analytical skills with strong problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment
Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is advantageous but not required to join us as a Process Engineer Summer Intern. This internship provides invaluable industry exposure while fostering your growth.
