Job Description
We are looking for a Process Improvement Engineer to enhance our production operations by optimizing processes, addressing challenges on the shop floor, and driving efficiency in a dynamic setting.
Responsibilities
- Enhance and refine manufacturing processes, tooling, and work instructions for better performance.
- Identify and resolve production issues swiftly while implementing effective corrective actions.
- Collaborate with operations teams to minimize setup times and enhance cycle efficiency.
- Analyze current processes to identify inefficiencies and address quality concerns proactively.
- Produce and uphold drawings, process documentation, and travelers to maintain consistent quality.
- Provide CAD support for manufacturing and machining efforts, ensuring precision and accuracy in designs.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering capacity.
- Extensive knowledge of metalworking processes and operational best practices.
- Strong understanding of GD&T and mechanical drawing interpretation.
- Experience in tolerance analysis, fixturing, and process control methodologies.
- Proficient in using precision measuring tools and analyzing inspection results.
- Able to work autonomously while effectively communicating across various teams.
