Your Opportunity
Our Denver, Colorado office is seeking a Process Mechanical Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our multi-disciplinary team of water professionals. As a Process Mechanical EIT, you will work in a supportive team environment and have exposure to water infrastructure design projects that include water and wastewater treatment plants and conveyance systems. You may also be involved in planning, design, and construction of critical infrastructure projects, including new pump stations and rehabilitation and upgrades of existing water and wastewater treatment facilities.
Your Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with local and virtual project teams and senior project staff to produce high quality work products for our water and wastewater clients with a moderate level of guidance. As such, tasks may include performing engineering calculations, preparing detailed design drawings and specifications, preparing planning and technical engineering reports, and designing pipelines, pump stations, and treatment processes. All tasks will be performed under the supervision of a professional engineer. Other responsibilities include:
As you gain experience, you will have the opportunity to contribute to more complex assignments and responsibilities, which may include guiding less experienced staff and interns. This progressive involvement will help you build a strong foundation in process engineering and prepare you for future leadership roles within our team.
Typical office environment will be working with computers and working at a desk for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Pay Range:
Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
