THE ROLE

Mach Energetics is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support the sourcing and purchasing of materials, components, and services across programs. You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure critical hardware and equipment are delivered on schedule and in support of company priorities. This role manages purchase orders, vendor coordination, supplier communication, and procurement tracking while helping maintain efficient and organized purchasing operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Source materials, components, and services in support of engineering, manufacturing, and operational programs.
  • Create and manage purchase orders, supplier communication, and procurement tracking systems.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support production schedules and material requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and delivery schedules.
  • Support vendor onboarding, quote requests, and pricing comparisons.
  • Maintain organized purchasing records, documentation, and procurement data.
  • Assist with inventory coordination and material planning activities.
  • Identify and resolve purchasing or supply chain issues impacting operations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience supporting procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or operations functions.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience with purchasing systems, spreadsheets, or ERP platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience supporting aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or hardware development programs.
  • Familiarity with technical purchasing, hardware procurement, or supply chain operations.
  • Experience working with vendors, suppliers, and production schedules.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and material planning processes.
  • Experience operating in startup or rapid development environments.
