We're seeking a Product Engagement Lead to deeply understand our partners' needs and the market landscape, and help ensure Squarespace develops empowering products and experiences for partners.

You will work hybrid in our NYC Headquarters office and report to the Senior Team Lead, Channel Partner Program.

You’ll Get To…

Drive the development of a long-term pro user product vision that aligns with the pro user business strategy 

Develop and socialize qualitative and quantitative insights to internal stakeholders (including executives and cross-functional partners on a regular cadence.

Partner with cross-functional product teams in the development of product roadmaps that are informed by the voice of our partners and support our business goals

Coordinate rollouts of in-development and new features in partnership with product and engineering teams and manage change communication and community support for changes to custom code

Ensure that we have consistent access to current user insights through community surveys, analysis of forum discussions, triage of feature request boards, competitive research

Collaborate with Business Development and Product teams to develop a pipeline of official  Extensions

Lead the creation of a developer education curriculum, with the goal of increasing API adoption by a target amount.

Provide insight into partner experience with the product to inform  GTM strategies

Who We’re Looking For

3+ years of experience in a product engagement, product management, developer advocacy or other technical role focused on channel partner or developer/professional user ecosystems

2+ years of experience in communicating technical information for non-technical audiences

Proven ability to partner with cross-functional product teams to build a long-term product vision, translate the voice of the customer and business goals into data-informed roadmaps, and secure buy-in for complex projects.

Expertise in developing and managing feedback loops, driving the collection and systematic analysis of data regarding product usage, user sentiment, and business metrics to extract actionable insights and competitive intelligence

Proven track record in technical community management or developer relations, including managing expectations and providing support during platform changes

Cash Compensation Range: $80,000 - $110,000 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to be granted an option to purchase our common stock. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive structure in addition to base salary.
