We are seeking a hands-on Product Engineer to take ownership of critical components of our AI-driven healthcare platform. This role blends product thinking with strong engineering execution, enabling you to design, build, and scale automation solutions in domains such as Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and healthcare workflows.

You will collaborate closely with engineering teams and healthcare domain experts to translate real-world challenges into scalable, high-impact solutions. This is a high-growth role, with a clear path toward Director of Product Engineering.

  • Backend development using Python (FastAPI, Pydantic)
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL
  • Cloud experience with AWS (Amplify, infrastructure services)
  • Experience with Docker and Terraform
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog and Sentry
  • Strong understanding of API design, system architecture, and scalable applications

Nice-to-Have Skills (Preferred)

  • Experience with PostHog (product analytics)
  • Exposure to AI/ML-driven applications or automation platforms
  • Familiarity with Modal or similar compute platforms
  • Prior experience in healthcare or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership & Strategy

  • Own end-to-end product development from concept to deployment
  • Translate user workflows into clear product roadmaps and technical solutions
  • Define KPIs, OKRs, and success metrics to measure impact

Design & Development

  • Build and ship full-stack features that drive measurable business outcomes
  • Lead product discovery, prototyping, and workflow design
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to select appropriate models, APIs, and architectures

Automation & Innovation

  • Develop automation solutions across healthcare workflows (e.g., claims processing, voice capture systems)
  • Continuously improve system performance using data-driven insights

Quality, Compliance & Optimization

  • Ensure system performance in terms of accuracy, latency, and scalability
  • Implement HIPAA-compliant solutions and maintain data security standards
  • Build feedback loops (human-in-the-loop systems) to improve models and workflows

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Full-Stack Engineer or Product Engineer
  • Strong product mindset with the ability to connect engineering output to business outcomes
  • Experience working with data-driven systems and performance optimization
  • Excellent communication skills—ability to work cross-functionally with engineers, stakeholders, and leadership
  • Understanding of security, privacy, and compliance (HIPAA preferred)
