Why Join
You'll be joining an early, fast‑moving team building a completely new category of computing: a personal cloud computer powered by AI. This is not another SaaS tool — it's a frontier product that blends consumer UX, cloud infrastructure, and intelligent agents.
A few reasons engineers love this team:
- Early-stage rocket ship — ~$30M raised, engineering team growing from 5 20+ this year.
- Frontier AI product — build the first consumer‑grade cloud computer with AI at its core.
- Elite founding team — founders previously built at Venmo, Substack, Stripe, and Fin.
- Huge ownership — you'll own major product areas from day one.
- High-agency culture — flat structure, fast iteration, and real impact.
- Flexible work — Brooklyn HQ (East Williamsburg) + SF satellite; hybrid or remote possible for exceptional candidates.
About the Role
We're looking for a generalist Product Engineer who can think like a product manager, build like a full‑stack engineer, and operate with the creativity needed in frontier AI.
You'll work across the entire product surface — from designing user flows to building backend systems — and help define what a personal cloud computer should feel like for everyday users.
This is a broad, high‑ownership role. Everyone contributes to product direction, customer support, debugging, and polishing the experience. No small scopes here — you'll help push the entire mission forward.
What You'll Do
- Own features end‑to‑end: ideation design implementation launch
- Build high‑quality full‑stack code in Python and TypeScript
- Work closely with founders to shape the product roadmap
- Think creatively to solve open‑ended problems in AI and cloud computing
- Act as a product manager when needed — defining requirements, prioritizing work, and making tradeoffs
- Contribute to customer support, bug fixes, and product polish
- Collaborate in a fast-paced, flat environment where everyone has high agency
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for engineers who thrive in early‑stage environments, have strong product instincts, and can move quickly in ambiguous spaces.
Experience
- 5+ years as a software engineer
- Experience at a fast‑growing, reputable startup or a strong consumer/devtools company
- Former founders or early employees are highly valued
- Background in consumer products or developer tools is a strong plus
- Degree in a STEM field (CS preferred, but physics/math/engineering also great)
Technical Skills
- Strong full‑stack abilities
- Proficient in Python and TypeScript
- Comfortable building across backend, frontend, and APIs
- Ability to design clean systems, intuitive APIs, and thoughtful UX flows
Soft Skills
- High agency and initiative
- Strong product sense and taste
- Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration
- Willingness to jump into customer support and polish work
- Thrives in early‑stage, non‑9‑to‑5 environments
Traits That Don't Fit
- Looking for narrow scope or rigid structure
- Prefers a traditional 9‑to‑5
- Needs heavy guidance or long onboarding
- Uncomfortable with fast-changing priorities
Work Setup
- Strong preference for in‑person collaboration in Brooklyn (NYC)
- SF office opening soon; remote possible for exceptional candidates
- Visa sponsorship available, including new H1B applications
