ABOUT THE ROLE

You’re the kind of person who sees what needs to be built and then makes sure it actually happens. You thrive as a bridge between strategic direction, user understanding and engineering execution. You operate by getting into the details, working with engineers, and pushing things forward until user value is shipped.

At Tandem, you’ll lead a team of engineers building core parts of our product. You’ll be responsible for setting direction, making decisions, and keeping momentum high. You’ll work across both product and engineering - shaping what we build, how we build it, and making sure the team consistently delivers at a high level.

You’re not just a manager, and not just a product person, you’re someone who can zoom in and contribute hands-on when needed, and zoom out to guide the team forward. You’re comfortable making trade-offs, prioritizing ruthlessly, and keeping momentum in a fast-moving environment.

This is a role for someone with strong product intuition, enough technical depth to work closely with engineers (and contribute when needed), and a genuine drive to lead a team toward meaningful outcomes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead a team of engineers to deliver high-impact product features.

• Own the product direction and execution for your feature, from identifying problems to shipping solutions.

• Work closely with engineers to define how things should be built, balancing speed, quality, and scalability.

• Contribute hands-on when needed, helping unblock the team and move things forward.

• Drive prioritization, planning, and day-to-day execution, ensuring the team maintains high velocity and clarity.

• Coach and support team members, helping them grow while maintaining high standards.

• Continuously improve how the team works - processes, communication, and ownership.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Experience working in both product and engineering contexts - e.g. as a PM/PO with strong technical depth, or an engineer who moved into product/leadership.

• Strong product intuition - you understand what to build and why, not just how to deliver it.

• Enough technical skill to work closely with engineers and actively contribute in code when needed.

• Experience leading or coordinating teams, even if not in a formal manager role.

• Ability to drive execution across multiple workstreams and keep things moving.

• A high level of ownership and drive - you naturally take responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to align people around a common direction.

Bonus Points

• Experience in healthtech.

• Experience working in high-velocity scale up environments where priorities shift quickly.

• Experience building or working on 0→1 products or early-stage features.

LOCATION

We believe the best ideas happen when we’re together. This role is based in our vibrant HQ in the Epicenter building in the heart of Stockholm where you will work primarily from our office to collaborate, connect, and build our culture.
