What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a highly organised individual with strong technical skills to join our Product team as a Product Insights Analyst. In this role, you’ll produce accurate, reliable reports that support day‑to‑day decision making across the business.

You’ll maintain core operational and regulatory reports, build clear Power BI dashboards, and write SQL queries to keep our data consistent and high‑quality. You’ll also help streamline processes by identifying opportunities to automate regular reporting.

Working closely with product managers, engineers and wider teams, you’ll handle a range of data requests and play an important role in strengthening our reporting and insight capability. Some of the things you'll get up to:

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

  • Own and maintain recurring operational and regulatory reports
  • Ensure all reporting is accurate, timely, and consistent
  • Deliver business performance reporting used by senior stakeholders
  • Support statutory and regulatory reporting requirements

Data Analysis & SQL

  • Write and maintain SQL queries to extract and validate data
  • Work confidently across large datasets and multiple data sources
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies

Dashboards & Visualisation

  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards
  • Improve clarity, usability and reliability of reporting outputs

Automation & Efficiency

  • Identify opportunities to automate processes and recurring reports
  • Reduce dependencies on central data teams for routine reporting
  • Improve data availability and turnaround times

Data Quality & Governance

  • Maintain consistency and accuracy across all reporting
  • Keep documentation for key metrics and reporting logic up to date
  • Support broader data quality initiatives

Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with the Product Insights Manager to enable deeper insights
  • Partner with Product Managers, Engineers and Data teams
  • Respond to ad‑hoc data requests where appropriate

We’d like you to have:

Essential

  • Strong SQL skills (joins, aggregations, CTEs)
  • Experience using Power BI or similar BI tools
  • Strong Excel skills for analysis and validation
  • Experience producing recurring business/operational reports
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work autonomously

Desirable

  • Experience with SSRS / Report Builder or SSIS
  • Familiarity with Azure Data Factory or cloud data platforms
  • Experience in product, digital or regulated environments
  • Understanding of data modelling and reporting best practices
