About the role

Original posting from Garnerhealth via Greenhouse

Garner’s mission is to transform the healthcare economy, delivering high-quality and affordable care for all.

We are fundamentally reimagining how healthcare works in the U.S. by partnering with employers to redesign healthcare benefits using clear incentives and powerful, data-driven insights. Our approach guides employees to higher-quality, lower-cost care, creating a system that works better for everyone. Patients achieve better health outcomes, employers spend healthcare dollars more effectively, and physicians are rewarded for delivering exceptional care rather than performing more procedures.

Garner is one of the fastest-growing healthcare technology companies in the country. Our products are trusted by the most sophisticated employers and providers in the industry, and we are building a team of talented, mission-driven individuals who are motivated to make a meaningful impact on healthcare at scale.

About the role:

We are looking for a Product Manager III to join our Growth team. This person will be responsible for our holistic account creation experience, including personalization, security, and enterprise partnerships. This role will be part of our Growth Area, responsible for member acquisition, education, and retention. This role will report to the Director of Product, Growth.

Where you will work:

This role will be based in our New York City office (in the Financial District). You must be willing to work in the office 3 days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

What you will do:

Own the end-to-end account creation experience — from a member's first touch through a verified, activated account — across web and mobile, including the sign-up UI, authentication, and account security

Optimize the activation funnel. Define and improve sign-up conversion and time-to-activation through experimentation, funnel analysis, and systematically removing friction and drop-off

Personalize onboarding so members reach value faster, tailoring the experience to eligibility, plan type, and member context

Lead account security and fraud prevention — authentication, account recovery, and protecting members' health data — without adding unnecessary friction

Coordinate SSO integrations with enterprise clients and internal teams, ensuring a secure, low-friction sign-on experience

Own the roadmap and metrics for account creation: prioritize with data, make trade-offs, and communicate results to stakeholders

Work day-to-day with engineering, design, and data science to ship and iterate quickly

The ideal candidate has:

3–5 years of Product Management experience, with a track record of delivering high-impact features in a fast-paced environment

Technical Fluency: A proven ability to navigate technical domains and dive deep into complex systems, ideally with consumer product experience

AI Fluency: A habit of using AI tools to work faster — prototyping, research, and analysis — and curiosity about how AI can improve the member experience

High Autonomy: An "owner" mindset with the ability to take a complex, unscoped problem and drive it to a successful resolution

Expert Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills, with the ability to influence both internal engineering teams and external client executives

Strong Analytical Foundation: A data-first approach to decision-making, using metrics to guide product intuition and navigate difficult trade-offs

Mission-Driven: A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback

This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company in a transformative role, helping shape the future of healthcare.

Please note: we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Compensation Transparency:

The target salary range for this position is $180,000 - $205,000. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans, including but not limited to: flexible PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision plan options, 401(k), Teladoc Health and more.
