About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Product Owner to lead the development and enhancement of our securities trading and wealth management platforms. In this role, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, compliance, and development teams.
The ideal candidate will have deep domain expertise in securities trading systems (Stocks/Bonds/Structured Products) combined with a strong grasp of wealth management operations and SFC regulatory frameworks. You will be responsible for defining the product vision, managing the backlog, and ensuring that our systems are not only technologically robust but also strictly compliant with Hong Kong’s regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap for the securities trading platform, focusing on the lifecycle of stocks, bonds, funds, and structured products.
- Lead product initiatives related to wealth management operations, ensuring seamless integration with front-office and back-office systems.
- Manage the product lifecycle features for investment products, including the setup, maintenance, and decommissioning of securities and funds.
- Drive the digitization and automation of client onboarding, KYC (Know Your Customer), investor profiling, and investment suitability assessment workflows.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders across Trading, Operations, Compliance, and Front Office teams.
- Define user stories and acceptance criteria for trade execution, order management, real-time market data integration, and settlement processes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design, build, and maintain low-latency, high-availability trading systems.
- Analyze and optimize the end-to-end securities trading workflow to ensure efficiency and reliability for both retail and institutional clients.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Systems Analyst, or similar role within the financial services industry.
- Proven experience with designing, building, and/or maintaining trading systems
- Solid understanding of system design with knowledge in vast variety technology components such as APIs, databases, frameworks, and libraries.
- Hands-on experience with wealth management operations and investment product operations
- Strong understanding of SFC regulatory requirements applicable to licensed corporations engaged in securities trading
- Mandarin speaker is mandatory
Technical & Tooling Competencies
- Experience with modern AI-powered development tools such as Cursor, Qoder, V0, or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated understanding of Spec-Driven Development frameworks.
- Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Figma, GitHub, Slack, and others.

- 与工程团队合作，设计、构建和维护低延迟、高可用的交易系统。
- 分析并优化端到端的证券交易工作流程，确保面向零售和机构客户的运营效率与可靠性。
任职资格
- 5年以上金融服务业产品负责人、系统分析师或类似职位的经验。
- 具备设计、构建和/或维护交易系统的成熟经验。
- 对系统设计有扎实理解，熟悉多种技术组件，如API、数据库、框架和库。
- 具备财富管理运营和投资产品运营的实践经验。
- 深刻理解适用于从事证券交易的持牌法团的香港证监会（SFC）监管要求。
- 必须能够使用普通话进行工作交流。
技术与工具能力
- 具备使用现代AI驱动开发工具的经验，如Cursor、Qoder、V0或类似平台。
- 对规约驱动开发（Spec-Driven Development）框架有深入理解。
- 熟练使用Jira、Figma、GitHub、Slack等工具。
