Product Manager (Senior Consultant, Business & Product Delivery)
We are seeking a senior level Product Manager to support a program that delivers a statewide, equitable paid family and medical leave benefit in support of workers, families, and employers while strengthening workforce stability and economic resilience across Maryland.
At Fearless, this Senior Consultant role requires versatility, leadership, and collaboration across teams and stakeholders to maximize value delivery and adoption. The role ensures alignment of product strategy with client goals, facilitates agile ceremonies and continuous improvement, and provides critical business and functional analysis to deliver high-quality, user-centered solutions. This role will possess the skills to be able to span the domains of product management, scrum leadership, and business analyst at an advanced application level of proficiency . This Consultant role will work on projects that allow them to support agile software development teams and client organizations.
Your Responsibilities in this Role:
- Technical Roadmap: Define and prioritize technical improvements for fraud detection, financial reporting, and data quality monitoring.
- Requirements Gathering: Translate PFML laws and policies into specific technical requirements for Salesforce developers and Data Engineers.
- System Integration: Coordinate how data moves between Salesforce and our analytics environment. Ensure that risk flags or audit results generated by the data team are visible to claim processors within Salesforce.
- Data Quality Oversight: Establish validation rules within Salesforce to catch errors at the point of entry. Work with the Data Architect to ensure "Source of Truth" standards are met for every claim.
- Reporting & Compliance: Lead the production of mandatory state and federal reports. Ensure all data handling meets PII and HIPAA privacy standards.
- Problem Solving: Investigate data discrepancies between the claim system and financial records to identify root causes and implement fixes.

Work Experience
PROJECT SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Product Management or Systems Analysis, specifically in highly regulated fields like insurance, finance, or government services.
- Salesforce Knowledge: Direct experience managing or implementing Salesforce-based solutions. You should understand objects, flows, and how data is structured within the platform.
- Data Literacy: Ability to work with SQL and BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.). You must be comfortable discussing database schemas and API integrations with engineers.
