About the Role:

The Production Planner & Data Analyst plays a central role in ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and reliable production within a food manufacturing environment. This position blends hands-on production planning with data-driven decision-making, supporting operational excellence through accurate forecasting, scheduling, and performance analytics. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, fast-moving setting and uses data to anticipate challenges before they impact service levels.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and adjust production schedules based on demand, inventory, and capacity
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure materials, equipment, and priorities are aligned
  • Monitor production in real time and adapt plans to meet service levels
  • Run MRP and generate reports to support accurate production and fulfillment
  • Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities
  • Track and report on KPIs like yield, downtime, labor efficiency, and forecast accuracy
  • Maintain data accuracy across ERP/MRP systems
  • Support SOPs, costing, and production/QA administrative processes
  • Communicate risks, changes, and priorities clearly across teams
  • Ensure all processes meet food safety and compliance standards

What We’re Looking For:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Data Analytics, or related field
  • Food manufacturing or CPG experience preferred
  • Strong Excel skills; ERP/MRP experience (SAP a plus)
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven
  • Strong communicator who can work across teams and levels
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
  • Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, SQF, BRC, FSMA) a plus
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement preferred
  • Flexible availability, including weekends/holidays as needed
