We’re Hiring: Production Support Engineer (Python, Linux)

Hong Kong | On-site

My client is a world-class global hedge fund with a deeply technology-driven culture, enabling sophisticated trading strategies across global markets. They are expanding their team in Hong Kong and is looking for a Production Support Engineer to support mission-critical trading platforms across front and middle office environments.

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot and resolve trading-related technical issues in live environments
• Work closely with traders, portfolio managers, and tech teams globally
• Support deployment, monitoring, and performance of trading systems
• Automate processes to improve system reliability and efficiency
• Manage incident communication and drive resolution across stakeholders

Core Requirements

• 5+ years experience in Linux environments
• Experience in reliability engineering and DevOps practices is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Python / Shell scripting / SQL / KDB (Good to have)
• Background in financial markets / trading systems support
• Familiarity with FIX protocol is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
