Working alongside experienced engineers and project teams, you'll contribute throughout the full project lifecycle - from early feasibility and design through construction support and commissioning.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting electrical and instrumentation design for new facilities and upgrades to existing infrastructure

  • Assisting with feasibility assessments, equipment selection, and technical evaluations
  • Developing engineering reports, calculations, and control system narratives

  • Participating in occasional site visits and field inspections
  • Collaborating with engineers, project managers, contractors, and operations teams to support successful project delivery

What They're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • P.Eng. designation in British Columbia (or eligibility to obtain)
  • 4-7 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering within industrial, utility, or energy environments
  • Familiarity with electrical distribution systems, single-line diagrams, grounding layouts, and schematics
  • Working knowledge of PLC, DCS, HMI, and SCADA control systems
  • Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and a collaborative mindset

Compensation

  • Estimated base salary range: $90,000 - $110,000 CAD

Actual compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and technical background. A competitive bonus program and comprehensive benefits package are also offered.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

  • Work on critical energy and industrial infrastructure projects
  • Gain exposure to projects from design through commissioning
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers and project leaders
  • Be part of a growing and technically driven team
  • Strong opportunities for career growth and professional development
