Project Engineer (Lighting - Tender & Project Coordination)

Koizumi Lighting Singapore Pte Ltd An established Japanese lighting manufacturer. In Singapore, we specialise in turnkey projects.

The role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Tendering & Quotation (Key Responsibility) Prepare and manage tenders and quotations based on project requirements. Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications. Analyse and compare products and services to propose suitable solutions. Propose alternative products or value-engineering solutions when required. Examine client requirements and scope of work to prepare accurate quotations. Prepare technical specifications and compliance documents. Maintain and update supplier information, including product ranges, pricing, and delivery schedules. Liaise with suppliers on technical and commercial matters. Lighting Design & Technical Support Perform basic lighting design and technical calculations when required.

Project Coordination & Execution Coordinate and manage project activities to ensure smooth and timely completion. Monitor project progress and provide accurate and timely updates to management. Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams. Attend site meetings and inspections. Assist in project documentation and submissions. Handle project risk management and issue escalation. General Duties Support the Project Manager in project-related tasks. Assist in resolving technical or site-related issues. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirement Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related discipline. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the local construction industry. Experience in tender preparation and costing will be an advantage. Knowledge of lighting products or lighting design is preferred. Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD and Dialux is an advantage. Good communication, coordination, and leadership skills. Able to work in a fast-paced and result-driven environment.
