We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager with a strong background in managing Data Analytics and Business Intelligence (BI) platform projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, stakeholder management, team coordination, and ensuring alignment with business goals. Familiarity with modern data analytics tools, cloud-based platforms, and enterprise data strategies is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver projects related to data analytics platforms (e.g., data lakes, BI tools, dashboards, data pipelines).
- Define project scope, objectives, timeline, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including schedules, resources, risk assessments, and budgets.
- Coordinate with data engineers, analysts, data scientists, and business users to ensure smooth delivery of analytics solutions.
- Monitor and control project performance using appropriate KPIs, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance policies.
- Drive adoption of Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies to improve delivery efficiency.
- Prepare executive status reports, RAID logs, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in project management, experience in data analytics platform delivery is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, big data, and cloud technologies.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certifications are added advantage.
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with government sector processes, compliance requirements, and stakeholder management will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR or local government data governance frameworks).
