POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Purchasing Data Analyst owns purchasing master data governance and reporting enablement within Infor LN, ensuring data accuracy, audit readiness, and consistency across price books, supplier relationships, and lead time data. This role is accountable for developing, standardizing, and maintaining purchasing reports (LN and Power BI) that Buyers and Sourcing rely on for decision making, while partnering with ERP on system communication and enhancements without owning ERP development or purchasing execution.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain purchasing data integrity in Infor LN
  • Establish and document data governance processes.
  • Perform routine audits to identify and correct data discrepancies.
  • Manage change control on purchasing data.
  • Report development and ongoing maintenance (LN and Power BI)
  • Support Purchasing team with data insights.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure data alignment.
  • Ensure the implementation of ERP system updates and enhancements do not adversely impact the purchasing data integrity.

JOB SKILLS:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency.
  • ERP experience (Infor LN preferred).
  • Attention to detail.
  • Understanding of purchasing processes.
  • Strong communication skills.

EDUCATION & TRAINING:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3–5 years relevant experience.
  • ERP and purchasing data experience.
  • Strong Excel/reporting skills.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Infor LN experience.
  • Manufacturing/EPC experience.
  • BI tools experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Position is at least 80% to 95% at a desk working with computer. Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Performs other physical activities including use of fingers, sitting, stooping, bending, crouching, talking, hearing, and performing repetitive motions. Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision necessary to prepare and analyze data and figures, operate a computer terminal, and conduct extensive reading. The incumbent will be subject to inside environmental conditions.
