The firm is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join its Singapore-based technology team. This role focuses on building, supporting, and enhancing globally accessible quantitative trading infrastructure, with a particular emphasis on Equity Volatility Systematic Trading.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an in‑house Equity Volatility systematic trading platform and supporting infrastructure
- Collaborate closely with quantitative researchers, portfolio managers, and technologists to deliver high‑impact software solutions
- Design and implement robust processes for scheduling and monitoring platform resources, integrating with existing proprietary systems
- Partner with global technology teams to define and apply best practices across system design, integration, API development, and release management
- Balance feasibility, stability, scalability, and time‑to‑market in solution delivery
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy while exercising strong technical judgement
- Contribute to a collaborative environment built around shared tooling and platforms
- Identify inefficiencies and help automate manual processes
Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline
- 3+ years of professional software development experience; financial services exposure advantageous
- Strong understanding of quantitative trading systems; Equity Volatility experience is a significant plus
- Experience working with real‑time market data and historical time‑series data is beneficial
- Deep expertise in Python and/or Rust
- Exposure to technologies such as React, CSS, AWS, Redis, Kubernetes, Kafka, and low‑latency middleware is advantageous
