QA Automation Engineer (Selenium) 💰 Salary: $75,000 - 77,000 per year

📝 Rquirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience in implementing and supporting automation frameworks, particularly for Windows UI applications
- Proficiency in scripting and automating tests for both Windows and web applications
- Familiarity with Quality Assurance best practices and methodologies
- Experience in testing SaaS/Cloud applications with strong infrastructure knowledge
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, .NET, JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell
- Knowledge of relational databases and ability to create SQL queries
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
- Experience with ERP applications and understanding of transit scheduling software, such as HASTUS or Trapeze
- Ability to mentor team members and share knowledge effectively
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
👩💻👨💻 Your responsibilities are:
- Support the IT QA automation initiative by defining and implementing an automation framework for Windows UI applications
- Collaborate with QA and application engineering teams to identify and select appropriate tools for scalable automation solutions
- Expand automation efforts to web-based applications and integrate with test management tools
- Develop and implement UI automation for both Windows and web applications
- Engage in continuous improvements by delivering innovative testing strategies
- Define core components of the automation framework and establish integration standards
- Execute evaluations of automation tools and create proof of concepts and ROI analyses
- Set and enforce coding standards while adhering to QA best practices
- Manage error handling strategies and ensure deterministic test environments
- Integrate automation with build pipelines and manage test reporting effectively
- Partner with developers and product owners to articulate testable requirements and risk-based coverage
- Produce detailed documentation and training materials for team members and stakeholders
