Role Description
This part-time QA/QC Engineer role is a hybrid position based in Hong Kong SAR, allowing for a combination of on-site work and remote work. The role involves performing quality control checks, implementing quality assurance measures, conducting quality audits, managing quality systems, and performing product and process inspections. The QA/QC Engineer will work closely with other teams to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Quality Control and Inspection protocols to identify defects and ensure product and process compliance.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Management systems to establish and maintain standards.
- Expertise in conducting Quality Auditing, including planning and executing audits to detect areas for process improvement.
- Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement corrective actions.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate across different teams and levels of the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience in quality management roles.
- Experience in similar industries or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO standards) will be an advantage.
