QA/QC Mechanical Engineer | MEP Quality Assurance | Jobs in Dubai Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Industry: MEP Contracting / High-Rise Building Projects Reports To: QA/QC Manager / Mechanical Project Lead Salary (tax-free): Based on experience About the Role A leading MEP contractor in Dubai is seeking a QA/QC Mechanical Engineer with a strong track record in high-rise building projects . The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, documenting, and verifying mechanical installations, ensuring full compliance with project specifications, quality procedures, and authority approvals.

Key Responsibilities Perform QA/QC inspections of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems . Review method statements, material submittals, shop drawings, and ensure site works align with approved specs. Generate and maintain Inspection Requests (IRs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and quality records. Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, and internal project teams for snag closure and final handover. Supervise pressure testing, flushing, chlorination, and commissioning of mechanical systems. Participate in authority inspections (DCD, DM, DEWA) and ensure compliance. Track all QA/QC documentation and assist in preparing handover files and O&M manuals.

Candidate Requirements

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (required). 5 years of dedicated QA/QC experience on MEP high-rise projects in Dubai or wider UAE. Familiarity with UAE authority procedures , codes, and approval systems. Must have completed at least 2 full-cycle mechanical MEP projects from start to handover. Proficient in QA/QC documentation , ISO standards, and quality systems. Strong coordination, inspection, and reporting capabilities. Must be based in the UAE and available to provide salary slips or SOA prior to final interview. Consistent employment history with reputable companies. UAE experience is mandatory ; Dubai-based candidates preferred.
