QE API Testing & Automation

Englewood, NJ (Only local profiles)

Hybrid role (3 days work from office)

Final Interview will be In-Person/Face-2-Face

Duration: 12 months with possible extensionQE API Testing & Automation

Location: Englewood, NJ

Must Have : Automation and Functional testing for API , Agile process

API Testing : Swagger , Postman

Automation : Selenium, Java, TestNG, Rest Assured

Good to have : Basic Performance testing JMeter and CI / CD process

Job Description:

Proven experience as a QE Lead in web application and API projects, guiding tester and interactions with Biz/Product Owner

Experience with strong background in API Manual testing and Web Apps

Experience in API testing using tools Postman and Swagger to validate endpoints.

Experience in validate endpoints, payloads, and responses, ensuring the reliability and stability of backend services

Hands on experience using Java & REST Assured automation framework for API.

Proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG)

Good knowledge and hands on experience using Java programming concepts

Working experience with Apache Jmeter to run performance tests is a plus.

Extensive experience on Selenium WebDriver to develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts

Hands on experience on GIT, JIRA, Jenkins and Test Rail.

Working experience in Agile methodology with in-sprint automation.

Excellent communication skills and prior experience to work with engineering and biz team
