Role Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end qualitative research projects: scoping, design, sampling approach, discussion guides, moderation strategy, and reporting
- Conduct or oversee interviews using Cookiy.AI's AI moderation workflows (and step in for human-led sessions when needed)
- Turn conversation data into clear frameworks, themes, and decisions, translating raw quotes into executive-ready insights
- Produce client-ready deliverables: reports, clips/reels, executive summaries, and presentation decks
- Ensure research quality and rigor: respondent fit, conversation depth, bias control, and defensible interpretation
- Build reusable templates and playbooks to scale delivery across markets
- Partner with Commercial to support pre-sales discovery, helping shape the research approach that proves value fast
- Run or co-lead product demos from a researcher's lens, showing "how the sausage is made" and why the outputs are credible
- Design and execute pilot studies that convert: tight scope, clear success metrics, and outcomes that stakeholders can act on
- Translate research outcomes into commercial narratives: ROI, speed-to-insight, cost reduction, and decision impact
- Join client calls with senior stakeholders (Insights/Research/Marketing/Product) to build trust and handle methodology objections
- Capture recurring client objections and needs, feeding them back into GTM messaging and enablement materials
Qualitications
Required
- 3–7 years in qualitative research, user research, customer insights, or market research (agency or in-house)
- Strong grasp of qual methods: IDIs, FGDs, concept testing, messaging testing, journey exploration, usability-style probing
- Sharp synthesis + storytelling: you can turn interviews into decisions, not just observations
- Client-facing confidence: comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and handling pushback on methodology
- Commercial instincts: you can connect insights to business outcomes (growth, retention, conversion, brand)
- Comfort with research technology and AI tools (or strong willingness to learn fast)
- Bias toward action, high ownership, and calm under ambiguity
Preferred
- Experience supporting pre-sales as a researcher (e.g., scoping, pilot design, stakeholder workshops)
- Familiarity with AI / research tech ecosystems and modern qual workflows
- Multi-market or cross-cultural qual experience (APAC/EMEA/AMS)
- Experience creating GTM assets: demo scripts, pilot frameworks, case studies, POVs, or enablement decks
