Responsibilities

Team Introduction:

The Emerging Product Engineering Team is the incubator for TikTok USDS JV's newest ventures in the US market. We are responsible for the end-to-end success of a diverse portfolio of non-TikTok applications, including Trae, Gauth, and LimeShorts, as well as a growing pipeline of new products. We operate with a strong “0→1” mindset, prioritizing agility, rapid iteration, and creative problem-solving to build and scale products.

Now we are looking for a QA who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and is passionate about building new businesses from the ground up. In this role, you will develop the operational frameworks and service infrastructure that enable our emerging products to successfully launch, localize, and scale in the U.S. Market.

They will be responsible for transforming raw user feedback into actionable technical insights, ensuring our software maintains the highest quality standards through data-driven analysis and cross-functional advocacy.

Responsibilities:

  • Feedback Collection & Synthesis: Accurately interpret "Voice of the Customer" (VoC) from various channels. Perform tagging, clustering, and trend analysis to prioritize issues based on volume, severity, and business impact.
  • Defect Conversion: Collaborate closely with Customer Support (CS) to identify core pain points. Reproduce issues based on user leads, perform log extraction/analysis, and translate vague feedback into high-quality, actionable bug reports for engineering teams.
  • Issue Resolution Advocacy: Drive the end-to-end resolution process within defined SLAs. Coordinate with upstream and downstream stakeholders for root cause analysis (RCA) and issue characterization, ensuring timely updates are relayed back to users via CS.
  • Quality Insights & Reporting: Generate periodic quality analysis reports and maintain data dashboards to provide visibility into user-reported trends and systemic quality gaps.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent technical understanding of software ecosystems.
  • 3+ years of experience in software technical support, customer reliability engineering, or software QA/testing.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex technical issues into concise summaries for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience of XR product PM、Dev、QA、User Feedback processing is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Python is a significant plus. Ability to develop scripts or tools to automate data processing and improve the efficiency of defect reproduction.
