Job Title: QA/QC Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to ensure all residential construction activities meet quality standards, building codes, and client specifications.
The role involves overseeing inspections, testing, documentation, and compliance throughout all project phases—from groundwork to final handover.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance
- Develop and implement QA/QC plans, procedures, and inspection checklists
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documents for compliance
- Conduct quality training and toolbox talks for site teams
- Ensure materials and equipment meet approved standards
Quality Control & Inspections
- Perform site inspections across civil, architectural, MEP, and finishing works
- Monitor construction activities for compliance with drawings and codes
- Identify defects, raise NCRs, and track corrective actions
- Oversee material testing (concrete, soil, waterproofing, etc.)
- Verify workmanship across key stages (concrete, blockwork, MEP, finishes, etc.)
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain QA/QC reports, logs, NCRs, and test records
- Prepare weekly/monthly quality reports
- Ensure proper documentation for project handover
- Coordinate with third-party testing agencies and authorities
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to local building codes and safety regulations
- Support audits and implement corrective/preventive actions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 3–7 years of QA/QC experience in residential construction
- Strong knowledge of construction standards and quality processes
- Experience in material testing and inspections
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office and construction tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as ISO 9001, LEED, or similar
- Experience with third-party inspections and finishing quality assessment
