Quality Automation Engineer (Tosca) - 12 month contract to hire - 100% Remote

Optomi, in partnership with a global hospitality leader, is seeking a Tosca Automation Engineer to join the team supporting a critical platform for daily operations. This role is focused on validating complex, cross-domain business workflows as the company modernizes its technology ecosystem across thousands of properties. This is a hands-on automation engineering role requiring both strong Tosca experience and exposure to modern frameworks like Playwright.

The position focuses on end-to-end functional automation across large-scale enterprise systems, with opportunities to leverage AI-driven testing approaches.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years QA / test automation experience in Agile teams
  • Deep, practical Tosca expertise (module creation, test case libraries, dynamic buffers, test data/setup configuration)
  • Experience with or exposure to Playwright
  • Exposure to AI-driven testing tools or applying AI within QA workflows
  • Experience integrating Tosca with tools such as Harness, Splunk, and Dynatrace
  • Familiarity with Git workflows in Tosca

Technical Environment:

Tricentis Tosca, Playwright, Postman, Selenium, Jira, DEX Agents, Salesforce, Harness, Git, Splunk, Dynatrace, Confluence, MongoDB, Agile methodology

Responsibilities:

  • Enhance, extend, and maintain an existing Tosca test automation suite (modules, libraries, dynamic buffers, test data/config)
  • Execute and validate functional workflows that span multiple platforms and business units
  • Expand automation capabilities using both Tosca and modern frameworks like Playwright
  • Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to ensure quality across large-scale system integrations
  • Leverage AI and modern tooling to enhance test efficiency, coverage, and defect detection
  • Communicate testing results, risks, and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
