Manufacturing Quality Engineer (Compliance Focus)

We are working with a growing precision manufacturing company in the Watertown area supporting regulated industries, including medical devices.
This role is heavily driven and best suited for someone with strong technical writing and quality systems experience. The quality system is already in place. The focus is on maintaining and improving compliance processes such as CAPA, document control, and quality documentation. This is not a design-focused role.
Strong opportunity for someone with 3+ years in a manufacturing quality environment who is looking to grow within a stable, team-oriented company.
Responsibilities
Manage and support CAPA and DMR processes including root cause and documentation
Maintain and improve quality system documentation (ISO 9001 / ISO 13485)
Oversee document control and training records
Interface with customers and internal teams on quality and compliance issues
Assist with inspection planning and quality plans
Coordinate with vendors on documentation and compliance requirements
Requirements
3–10 years of experience in manufacturing quality, compliance, or quality engineering (medical device, regulated manufacturing, or similar environments)
Strong technical writing and documentation skills
Experience with CAPA, DMR, and quality systems
High attention to detail and ability to own documentation accuracy
Comfortable working cross-functionally with internal teams, vendors, and customers
Nice to have:
ISO 9001 and or ISO 13485 experience
Exposure to machining, CMM, GD&T, or inspection
Minitab or basic statistical analysis
CNC or machine shop experience is a plus, not required
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
