Job Title: Manufacturing Quality Engineer (Compliance Focus)

Location: Watertown, MA

Shift: 1st shift (standard business hours)

Pay: $70,000 – $100,000 annually + full benefits

Position Summary

Adecco is partnering with a growing precision manufacturing company in Watertown, MA that supports regulated industries, including medical devices. We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Quality Engineer with a strong focus on compliance and quality systems.

This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in technical writing and quality documentation who is looking to grow within a stable, team-oriented environment. The quality system is already established—this position will focus on maintaining and improving compliance processes such as CAPA, document control, and quality documentation. This is not a design-focused role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support CAPA and DMR processes, including root cause analysis and documentation
  • Maintain and improve quality system documentation in alignment with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards
  • Oversee document control processes and ensure accuracy of training records
  • Interface with customers and internal teams regarding quality and compliance matters
  • Assist with inspection planning and development of quality plans
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure documentation and compliance requirements are met

Qualifications

  • 3–10 years of experience in manufacturing quality, compliance, or quality engineering (medical device or regulated environment preferred)
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills
  • Hands-on experience with CAPA, DMR, and quality systems
  • High attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership over documentation accuracy
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams, vendors, and customers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485
  • Exposure to machining, CMM, GD&T, or inspection processes
  • Experience with Minitab or basic statistical analysis tools
  • CNC or machine shop experience is a plus

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
