Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a Software Quality Engineer 1 with strong experience in software integration testing, automated testing, and quality engineering. This role focuses on test automation, Data-driven Testing, data evaluations, test design, and cross-functional collaboration across global teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform software integration testing, functional testing, and test automation
  • Analyze and diagnose test failures, defects, and quality issues
  • Design, develop, and automate new test cases
  • Escalate and report key quality issues, driving root-cause analysis and resolution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple geographic regions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation frameworks

Minimum Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test or Software Quality Engineer.
  • Experience programming or scripting in Python
  • Bonus: Experience with Swift
  • Hands-on experience with test planning, test design, test case authoring, manual testing, and using test automation frameworks
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field

Qualifications

  • Experience in AI product testing, dataset collection, and metrics reporting
  • Ability to write shell scripts and familiarity with Xcode
  • Ability to modify existing iOS applications or automation code
  • Strong ability to analyze and identify root causes in multi-tiered, client–server environments
  • Knowledge of logging systems, analytics tools, or monitoring systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Self-motivated, curious, proactive, and focused on delivering high-quality results
  • Experience with virtual assistants, voice platforms, or conversational technologies is a plus

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
