Quality Engineer (CMM) – Aerospace Industry

- Job Summary
We are seeking a Quality Engineer with strong CMM experience to support inspection and quality assurance activities within the aerospace industry. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
?️ Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement inspection plans for aerospace components and assemblies
- Perform and support CMM programming and inspection activities
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications to establish inspection criteria
- Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI), in-process, and final inspections
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, documentation, and traceability records
- Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards (AS9100, AS9110, etc.)
- Support internal and external audits related to quality systems
- Perform root cause analysis (8D, FMEA, Fishbone) and drive corrective actions
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve quality and processes
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection efficiency and accuracy
✅ Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing / aerospace quality environment
- Hands-on experience with CMM programming and inspection tools
- Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings
- Familiar with Quality Management Systems (AS9100, AS9102, etc.)
- Knowledge of NDT methods is an added advantage
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic CAD tools
