Job Description

  • Support and manage quality operations within an assigned value stream to meet plant and business objectives.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve quality standards, inspection plans, and quality systems for products and processes.
  • Analyze quality performance, trends, and cost‑of‑quality data to drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Perform statistical analysis to assess product conformance, process capability, and nonconformance impact.
  • Lead and participate in internal, supplier, and customer audits to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
  • Partner with product development teams to provide quality input during design and process changes.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to address quality issues and implement supplier performance improvement programs.
  • Participate in customer complaint investigations, failure analysis, and corrective action implementation.
  • Apply Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools to enhance product quality and process performance.
  • Prepare reports, analyze data, and communicate findings and recommendations to cross‑functional teams.
  • Support training and education on quality tools, processes, and standards such as PPAP, APQP, and document control.
  • Represent quality in customer interactions, audits, and supplier visits as needed.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 2-4+ years of quality engineering or quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of quality engineering tools, inspection methods, and statistical analysis techniques.
  • Experience supporting or maintaining ISO‑based quality systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949 preferred).
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma tools.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive effective corrective actions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
  • U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.
