Description
- Lead quality operations within an assigned value stream, supporting overall business and quality strategy
- Develop, maintain, and improve quality standards, inspection plans, and control documentation
- Analyze quality data, trends, and root causes to drive corrective and preventive actions
- Partner with manufacturing, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality issues and improve performance
- Conduct internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality system requirements
- Support product development teams with quality input and risk assessment
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma principles
- Act as a key quality contact during customer interactions and internal/external audits
- Create and deliver training on quality tools, systems, and processes
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 2-4+ years of quality engineering experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
- Strong knowledge of quality tools, inspection methods, and statistical analysis
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
- Familiarity with ISO9001, AS9100, and/or IATF 16949 quality systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams

Desired Skills and Experience
- 2-4+ years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong background in statistical analysis, root cause analysis, and quality trending
- Experience developing and maintaining quality systems, inspection plans, and control documentation
- Hands‑on involvement with audits, CAPA, nonconformances, and failure investigations
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and/or IATF 16949 quality standards
- Experience working cross‑functionally with manufacturing, suppliers, and customers
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, PPAP, and APQP methodologies (preferred)
