Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on, and results-driven Quality Manager to lead and manage the Quality function within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day quality operations, supporting manufacturing projects and warranty services, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, solid experience in quality management systems (ISO9001/ISO14001), and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to ensure high standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the overall Quality function, including compliance with ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards
- Oversee and manage internal audit programs to ensure full compliance with quality management systems
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet regulatory and quality standards
- Manage and develop a team including Engineers, Supervisors, Team Leaders, and Associates
- Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure company quality standards are consistently met
- Monitor performance metrics and produce statistical reports (e.g., KPIs, quality metrics, customer satisfaction)
- Ensure accurate maintenance of quality documentation, records, and audit results
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions using methodologies such as 8D
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and other business units to support operations and new initiatives
- Partner with department leaders to drive goals, improve processes, and resolve quality issues
- Develop standardized procedures and ensure alignment across departments
- Provide training, tools, and guidance to support quality awareness and compliance
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and quality requirements across operations
- Support production planning to meet delivery timelines from a quality perspective
- Manage internal and external audit findings, ensuring timely resolution of non-conformities
- Provide strategic input on quality-related matters, including planning, staffing, and process improvements
- Ensure adequate resources are in place to meet business needs
- May be required to provide support outside of normal working hours and travel as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a company-wide Quality Management role
- Strong experience in a manufacturing environment
- In-depth knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, and quality compliance standards
- Proven experience managing audits and regulatory compliance
- Strong leadership experience managing diverse teams
- Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
