Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Execute and supervise all site NDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT, PAUT, TOFD, VT, LT) during erection and installation.
  • Ensure implementation of approved NDT procedures as per ASME, ISO, EN and project specifications.
  • Coordinate with site welding, and erection teams for stage-wise inspection and clearance.
  • Liaise with client representatives, TPI agencies, and authorized inspectors for inspections and approvals.
  • Monitor weld quality, fit-ups, PWHT readiness, and ensure inspection hold points are adhered to.
  • Handle site quality documentation including inspection reports, test records, and MDR inputs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards during radiography and other NDT activities at site.
  • Support hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, and final inspection activities.
  • Participate in audits and ensure readiness for client and statutory inspections

Preferred candidate profile

  • Engineering Degree/Diploma in Mechanical.
  • NDT Level II certification (MT, PT, UT, RT mandatory; PAUT/TOFD preferred).
  • 815 years of experience in site quality / field QA-QC for heavy fabrication, pressure vessels
  • Strong understanding of site execution challenges, codes, and inspection practices
