Quant Developer (C++, quant trading, strategy, high-performing team)

About the Role

Our client is a leading quantitative trading firm specializing in algorithmic trading strategies and high-frequency trading systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of finance and technology, developing cutting-edge trading algorithms and maintaining mission-critical infrastructure. You'll be joining a dynamic team focused on leveraging advanced computational methods to drive trading performance in global financial markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain server and network infrastructure, performing routine system checks, backup procedures, and recovery operations for trading systems
• Resolve technical issues promptly to ensure optimal performance of trading platforms and minimize system downtime
• Design and implement sophisticated algorithms for trading systems, focusing on data processing and strategy optimization
• Enhance system efficiency through advanced data structures, sorting algorithms, search optimization, and complex problem-solving methodologies
• Develop quantitative trading strategies and models using data mining techniques and statistical analysis methods
• Optimize trading algorithms for speed and accuracy in high-frequency trading environments
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers to translate mathematical models into robust, scalable trading systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electronics, Automation, or related technical fields
• Strong programming proficiency in C++ and Python with demonstrated experience in algorithm development
• Advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems and system administration capabilities
• Solid understanding of networking concepts with C++ network programming skills and experience with message queue libraries (is a bonus)
• Hands-on experience in server administration and network maintenance in production environments
• Knowledge of machine learning methodologies and statistical analysis techniques for quantitative applications
