Quant Researcher @ Systematic Fund (Hong Kong)

We are partnering with a leading systematic investment firm to hire a Quantitative Researcher focused on equities. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing, research-driven environment with a strong emphasis on innovation, collaboration, and data-driven decision making.

What you’ll be doing:

• Research and develop equity alpha signals (factor-based, cross-sectional, event-driven) across global markets
• Analyse fundamentals, corporate actions, and market microstructure to enhance signal robustness
• Build and implement systematic trading strategies end-to-end
• Work with large datasets to identify opportunities and optimise performance
• Collaborate closely with trading and engineering teams to deploy and refine strategies

What we’re looking for:

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field (Math, Stats, Physics, Engineering, Data Science)
• Strong foundation in statistics, machine learning, or time-series analysis
• Programming skills in Python / C++ / Matlab / SQL
• Experience in quant research, trading, or data science with exposure to equities
• Strong interest in financial markets and systematic investing
