Client: Elite Hedge Fund

Location: Hong Kong

Experience: 2–7 years

Compensation: Highly competitive — base + performance bonus + RSU

My client is a top 5 US hedge fund, known for its strong track record and global presence across asset classes. The firm operates a pod-based structure, offering a highly entrepreneurial environment with direct exposure to trading and PnL. They are open to Quant Researchers and Strats from the sell-side, particularly those with strong technical and analytical backgrounds looking to transition into a buy-side setting.

The Role:

• Work closely with the PM to develop and refine systematic trading strategies
• Take a hands-on approach to idea generation, model development, and backtesting to support day-to-day trading decisions
• Own the full lifecycle — design, optimize, and deploy high-impact trading strategies and supporting infrastructure
• Operate in a fast-paced, meritocratic environment where performance is directly rewarded
