Our client, a leading quantitative hedge fund renowned for its sophisticated data-driven investment strategies, is actively seeking a highly analytical and technically proficient Quantitative Analyst to join their fully remote trading team. Collaborate with portfolio managers and other quants in a remote setting to refine strategy parameters and execution logic. Implement trading algorithms in production, ensuring high performance, reliability, and low latency. Monitor real-time strategy performance, identify deviations, and troubleshoot issues promptly. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the firm's trading infrastructure and quantitative research toolkit. Stay abreast of the latest academic research and market developments in quantitative finance. Qualifications: Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or Financial Engineering. Proven experience (3+ years) in quantitative research, algorithmic trading strategy development, or a related quantitative finance role. Strong programming skills in Python (with libraries like NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, scikit-learn) and C++. Proficiency in statistical modeling, time series analysis, econometrics, and machine learning techniques. Solid understanding of financial markets, derivatives, and trading mechanisms. Experience with large-scale data analysis and database management (SQL, NoSQL). Excellent problem-solving abilities and a rigorous, detail-oriented approach. Effective communication and collaboration skills, essential for thriving in a remote team environment. Experience with distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark) and cloud platforms is a plus.
