Job Description

Company Description

Dux Advisors is a private investment fund advisor. We operate at the intersection of institutional-grade analysis and emerging AI tooling — building the infrastructure that lets a small, high-conviction team execute with the precision and speed of a much larger operation. We are a lean, serious operation where your work will matter on day one.

Role Description

We are looking for a motivated recent graduate to help us build the next generation of our trading infrastructure. This is not a support role. You will be building agentic AI systems, live data pipelines, and custom interfaces that directly support active portfolio management decisions.

You will work directly with the firm's principal, who will provide the strategic and tactical inputs (e.g., market judgment, thesis, and rules). Your job is to lead the build out, monitoring, and enhancement of the systems that will execute on those judgments faster, more precisely, and with less manual friction.

If you have dreamed of working at the intersection of markets and AI and can't get a foot in the door anywhere, this is your door.

Initial Compensation

$55,000 – $65,000 annual starting salary.

What You'll Build

  • Portfolio monitoring dashboard pulling real-time data from APIs
  • Options analytics tools — GEX and other deep options analysis
  • Agentic execution stack using leading-edge LLM tools (multi-agent systems with defined roles and information boundaries)

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related quantitative field — May 2024, 2025 or 2026 graduate preferred
  • Proficiency in Python — you don't need to be elite, you need to be fast and resourceful
  • Comfort working with REST APIs, WebSockets, and JSON data
  • Genuine interest in financial markets — you should know what a put option is
  • Experience with or strong willingness to use AI coding tools as your primary development workflow
  • Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and execute with urgency during market hours
  • Intangibles: Intellectual curiosity. Team mentality. Trustworthiness. Loyalty.
