Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain complex quantitative models for pricing, risk management, and portfolio optimization. Perform rigorous statistical analysis and data mining on large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and market insights. Design and conduct backtesting and stress testing of financial models to validate their performance and reliability. Collaborate closely with traders, portfolio managers, and risk managers to understand their needs and provide data-driven recommendations. Contribute to the development of new financial products and strategies by providing quantitative support. Ensure models are documented thoroughly and comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Utilize programming languages such as Python, R, C++, or MATLAB for model development and data analysis. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in quantitative finance, machine learning, and statistical modeling techniques. Present complex quantitative findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences. Work effectively within a remote team environment, demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills. Qualifications:
Master's degree or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, or Computer Science. Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Quantitative Analyst or in a similar quantitative role within the financial services industry. Strong proficiency in statistical modeling, time series analysis, and machine learning algorithms. Expertise in at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, R, C++, Java, MATLAB). In-depth knowledge of financial markets, derivatives, and risk management principles. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly. Experience working with large datasets and databases (SQL). Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote setting.
