Analyst works at the intersection of finance, mathematics, and technology, analyzing large datasets and implementing predictive and algorithmic models. The ideal candidate is analytical, technically skilled, and experienced in financial modeling, statistics, and programming.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement quantitative models for trading strategies, risk assessment, and pricing.
- Conduct research on financial markets, instruments, and trading opportunities.
- Design and develop algorithmic trading systems and tools.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, correlations, and actionable insights.
- Backtest models and strategies to evaluate performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with traders, engineers, and risk teams to optimize solutions.
- Monitor models and algorithms in production to ensure accuracy and performance.
- Stay updated on quantitative techniques, programming methods, and financial market developments.
- *Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in quantitative research, algorithmic trading, or financial modeling.
- Strong programming skills (Python, C++, R, Java, or similar).
- Deep understanding of statistics, probability, and quantitative finance.
- Experience with data analysis, machine learning, or time-series modeling is a plus.
- Knowledge of financial markets, derivatives, and trading platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
