Position Overview

Tanaq Management Services (TMS) is seeking a dedicated and skilled Quantitative Data Analyst to join our team in supporting federal agencies with essential public health initiatives. As part of TMS, a subsidiary of the St. George Tanaq Corporation, you will contribute your expertise in quantitative analysis to help us deliver impactful solutions while serving our community.

About the Role

In this fully remote position, you will play a crucial role in a cross-site evaluation project, working collaboratively with a team to enhance data collection methods and support data analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience in survey design, data cleaning, and compliance with federal regulations. You will engage with key stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met with excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing evaluation plans and quantitative data collection tools, including surveys and coding templates.
  • Conduct thorough data cleaning and analysis, generating insights to inform project strategies.
  • Provide consultation based on analytical findings to enhance project outcomes.
  • Create data dissemination resources, such as presentations and webinars, to share insights.
  • Support coordination and communication between project teams and external partners, including CDC staff and grantees.
  • Manage meeting logistics, take notes, and develop agendas to facilitate team collaboration.
  • Collaborate with the contract program manager to ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Required Experience and Skills

  • 2-4 years of experience in quantitative data analytics.
  • Proficiency with statistical software, preferably NVivo, and strong data communication skills.
  • Solid background in statistical methods for data analysis.
  • Experience coding, validating, cleaning, and analyzing clinical data.
  • Ability to provide technical assistance to stakeholders and team members.
  • Experience in literature reviews and reporting findings.
  • Strong skills in both quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
  • Aptitude for data visualization and writing analytical reports.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Prior experience with public health agencies is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SAS and SPSS is an advantage.
  • Eligible to obtain a government clearance.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Education and Training

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; a Master's in Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology or Data Analysis is preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work at a desk and on a computer for extended periods; occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds may be required.
