We’re Hiring: Options Quantitative Developer (Python, Systematic Trading)

My client is a world-class global hedge fund with a deeply technology-driven culture, enabling sophisticated trading strategies across global markets. They are expanding one of their options-focused trading desks and is looking to hire a hands-on Options Quantitative Developer.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative trading team, working closely with quants and traders to support live trading, research workflows, and production systems

What You’ll Do

• Develop, maintain, and debug Python-based quant and trading workflows
• Own and support scheduled and intraday jobs, including diagnosing and resolving data delays or pipeline failures
• Work hands-on in Unix/Linux environments to monitor and troubleshoot live trading processes
• Partner closely with quants and traders to ensure stability and performance of production systems
• Contribute to the evolution of trading tools and internal platforms

Core Requirements

• Strong, hands-on experience with Python
• Experience with job scheduling / workflow orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow or similar)
• Solid working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments
• 2+ years’ experience in a quantitative development or financial engineering role
• Options trading experience is strongly preferred

Nice to Have

• C++ experience, particularly for streaming or market data systems
• Front-end development exposure (HTML, JavaScript)
• Experience working with Python-based web frameworks (e.g. Flask)
• Familiarity with data visualization libraries such as Highcharts or AG Grid
