Job Description

Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Financial Analyst to join their innovative team in Colorado Springs, Colorado, US . This role will involve developing and implementing complex financial models, performing rigorous data analysis, and contributing to strategic investment decisions. You will work with large datasets, utilize advanced statistical techniques, and collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, and risk management teams.

Responsibilities:

Develop, backtest, and implement quantitative models for trading strategies, risk management, and portfolio optimization. Analyze market data, economic indicators, and financial instruments to identify investment opportunities and risks. Perform statistical analysis, time series analysis, and econometric modeling. Collaborate with portfolio managers to translate research ideas into tradable strategies. Work closely with technology teams to implement and deploy quantitative models into production environments. Monitor the performance of trading strategies and models, making adjustments as necessary. Conduct in-depth research on financial markets and asset classes. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the firm's quantitative research infrastructure.

Qualifications:

Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Economics. Proven experience (3+ years) in quantitative finance, trading, or risk management. Strong knowledge of financial markets, derivatives, and portfolio theory. Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in quantitative finance, such as Python, R, C++, or MATLAB. Experience with data analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and statistical modeling packages. Familiarity with machine learning techniques applied to finance is a plus. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong communication and presentation abilities. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
