What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and enhance industry-leading low-latency equities trading systems
- Own end-to-end delivery across multiple workstreams, from design to production
- Act as a key technical point of contact for front-office stakeholders, providing estimates and solution designs
- Build highly reliable systems with rigorous simulation, testing, and performance tuning
- Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making
- Support production releases and resolve post-deployment issues
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, setting technical standards across the team
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in Java , with a focus on low-latency, high-throughput systems (e.g. Connectivity, OMS, Market Access etc.)
- Proven expertise in multi-threaded Java development , performance tuning, and Linux environments
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms , and core computer science principles
- Experience working in regional and global engineering teams
- Scripting experience (Python, Perl, or similar)
Nice to Have
- Background in investment banking or electronic trading
- Deep knowledge of networks, operating systems, or computer architecture
- Experience with C++ or FPGA-related technologies (Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL)
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
